The University of New Orleans Office of Admissions is in full swing gearing up for a summer event designed to enhance school spirit. On July 21, UNO students, faculty, alumni and friends will gather for Privateer Night Out at the New Orleans Arena where the New Orleans Voodoo arena football team will play Georgia Force.
The university’s own Lafitte’s Treasures dance team will perform before the game, which starts at 7 p.m. .
“Come out to the Graveyard and show your Privateer Pride!” said Katie Smith, assistant director for freshman services in UNO’s Office of Admissions.
Tickets for the special event start at $8. To get the UNO discount, Privateers must purchase their tickets before July 18. For tickets or more information, contact Katie Smith at kesmith@uno.edu.
